WHO WE ARE
Brad Nelms, the highly respected producer behind BSN Rodeo Co., has produced bull ridings and rodeos in the Southeastern United States for over 20 years. Before he began producing, his time riding in the PBR was cut short by a wakeboarding accident. Brad then began BSN Rodeo Co. On December 4, 2024, he went to be with Jesus following a crash in his airplane, leaving behind his wife Chelsey, sons Wilder (6), Hesston (4), Hazer (2), and daughter McRae (1). The family chooses to continue on his legacy and love for the sport by carrying Rodeo in the Valley into its 5th year. This first year in his absence will feature a single memorial rodeo for the Cowboy they love.

BSN events are home to two-time PBR world grand champion J.B. Mauney, the Longest Ride stunt double and Virginia native Billy Robinson, and PBR entertainer Matt Merritt, just to name a few. What makes BSN Rodeo Co. so unique is its 12-bucking chute Priefert setup, which is the largest next to the Pendleton Roundup and Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Last year, BSN Rodeo Co. partnered with Anderson Auctioneers to name this series “Rodeo in the Valley.” It takes place on Mike Anderson’s 300-acre farm within the beautiful southwestern Virginia hills of Bristol. Each event has top notch professionalism, giving you the full rodeo experience in a show as entertaining as a national spectacle.
